The game started out as a defensive battle. in the 2nd quarter, the turnover bug hit and the very stingy Forney defense surrendered only 13 points after being put in very unenviable field position. Offensively, the Wildcats made every effort to take away the Jackrabbits running game. In the 2nd half, the Jackrabbits came out throwing the ball but could not overcome the 13 quick points the Wildcats scored to open the 2nd half. Quarterback Campbell Anderson threw the ball for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns. Campbell also rushed for another 35 yards. Riley Mcmurren had 5 catches for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns.
